My name is Denise Kilgallon and I am the Home School Community Liaison Coordinator here in St Mary’s.
My key role is as a support to you the parents/guardians, along with the teachers and the wider community, to help your daughter to be the best she can be, throughout her educational journey here in St Mary’s, through promoting the importance of attendance, participation, and retention in school.
My job also involves visiting you in your home, to help you in supporting your daughter, to get the most from the different educational opportunities that are available for your daughter.
I also link in with the different resources that are available both in our school and in the local community.
Throughout the year, I organise various activities for parents from coffee mornings to workshops. I encourage all our parents/guardians to play an active role in your daughter’s educational journey and welcome you to become part of our school community.
You can contact me Monday-Friday (9am – 3pm) on 0896047639 regarding any concerns you may have. I am also available to meet parents in their homes or at school.
