Active Schools Week

Each year Saint Mary’s students participate in our annual Active School Week. Active School Week is a national initiative with schools across the country running their own programme of events. The week affords all students in the school an opportunity to sample new activities. Events in Active School Week comprise; Sports Day (still waiting for the weather this year!!), Croagh Patrick Challenge (5th years), Ziplining and Boda Borg (TYs), Surfing and Rock climbing (3rd years), Martial Arts (2nd years), Modern Dance workshop (1st years).

St. Mary's Secondary School hope to join in the fun and is encouraging as many of our students and staff as possible to take part. Over the next week, girls wishing to take part will be provided with 8 week training plans to prepare them for the day.
