Sport - Soccer

Since the introduction of soccer to the extra curricular programme ten years ago, Saint Mary’s have won 8 Connacht titles and secured All Ireland honours in 2010 (under 16) and 2013 (First year). The school fields teams at first year, under 14, under 16 and senior levels.

Former students Sarah Rowe and Carol Hegarty, who were both part of Connacht and All Ireland winning teams at Saint Mary’s, have gone on to play International football for the Republic of Ireland.
