The Board of Management of St. Mary's Secondary School invites applications for the position of:

School Caretaker

This position will take effect from Monday, the 26th August 2019.

St. Mary's Secondary School is a vibrant and inclusive community of learning and of faith. We are a Catholic school community for girls, founded by the Mercy Sisters and now under the trusteeship of CEIST. With approximately 500 pupils and 50 staff, the school is committed to excellence in all activities and the role of school caretaker is hugely important in ensuring that all school facilities, equipment, buildings and grounds are maintained to a very high standard.

This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will have several years general maintenance experience. A qualification in building maintenance or a technician’s qualification would be advantageous.

The salary scale for the position is in accordance with DEoS Circular Number 0076/2018:
"Revision of Pay Rates in 2019 for School Secretaries, Caretakers and Cleaners employed by the Boards of Management of Recognised Primary Schools or by ETBs in Community National Schools using Ancillary Services Grant funding and Revised Rates of Ancillary Services Grant"
