Our senior Gaelic footballers posted a crucial win earlier today versus St. Joseph's Foxford.
The game which was played in Ardnaree was a very competitive encounter. The Foxford girls started well and were 0-5 to 0-1 in front early on. However St. Mary's clawed their way back in to contention and led 2-7 to 0-8 at the break.
In the second half it was Foxford once again who took the early initiatve and they were leading by the minimum with 15 minutes remaining. As in the first half our girls responded magnificently and a flurry of scores saw St. Mary's running out winners on a scoreline of 3-13 to 2-9.
