Good evening.
As you may be aware Met Eireann has issued a Status Orange Snow/Ice Warning for County Mayo. An assessment of the school grounds tonight found the grounds to be in a treacherous condition, so in the interest of the health and safety of staff and students, school will remain closed tomorrow Thursday 9th January.
We will review the situation tomorrow.
