The 5th Year LCVP students do an annual food appeal in the school for St Vincent De Paul, Ballina. Every year Ms Anne Keane a local representative of SVP visits the LCVP classes and gives the girls a very informed talk on the work that SVP do in Ballina, and also the joy and satisfaction that she experiences from volunteering. Anne always motivates the girls to work hard on the appeal as she explains in detail to them the demand for food at Christmas time and indeed all year round.
