Dear Parents/Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder about our upcoming event, Parenting the Screenager, happening this Thursday, 19th September at 7:30 PM. We are thrilled to have Dr. Richard Hogan, a leading authority on mental health and family dynamics, joining us for this important discussion on how to navigate the complexities of parenting in the digital age.
Dr. Hogan, a systemically trained Family Psychotherapist registered with The Family Therapy Association of Ireland, is known for his progressive approaches to mental health promotion. He writes a weekly column, Learning Points, for the Irish Examiner, and his bestselling book, Parenting the Screenager, has been praised as a “must buy for any parent of a teenager” by The Irish Times. His latest book, Home is where the Start is, was a national bestseller and shortlisted for an Irish Book Award.
In this event, Dr. Hogan will address key topics such as managing anxiety, building resilience, and developing effective technology policies for your home.
His practical, accessible approach will provide you with the tools to better understand and support your teenager's relationship with technology.
We are also excited to offer Dr. Hogan’s book, Parenting the Screenager, for purchase at the event, with all proceeds going directly to charity. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more while contributing to a meaningful cause.
