Friday, May 19th marked a significant milestone in the rich history of St. Mary's Secondary School, as we celebrated the highly anticipated Official Opening and Blessing of our remarkable new school campus. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including the Minister for Education, Norma Foley T.D., who graciously performed the official inauguration of the school, which was blessed by Bishop John Fleming.
Joining us in this momentous celebration were over 200 invited guests, comprising representatives from the Department of Education, Kilcawley Construction, B.D.P, CEIST Representatives, the Board of Management, the Parents Association, former staff members, and esteemed public figures. They were joined by Mercy Sisters and local clergy. Their presence highlighted the immense support and recognition that our school community has garnered.
The day itself was a testament to the collective efforts and unwavering dedication of our staff and students. As we embarked on this new chapter, we embraced the immense possibilities that our new campus offers for academic excellence, personal growth, and holistic development. The Official Opening and Blessing served as a reminder of the bright future that lies ahead for St. Mary's Secondary School and its students.
