Sport - Soccer

Since the introduction of soccer to the extra curricular programme in 2007, Saint Mary’s have won 8 Connacht titles and secured All Ireland honours in 2010 (under 16) and 2013 (First year). The school currently fields teams at first year and under 14 levels.

Former students Sarah Rowe and Carol Hegarty, who were both part of Connacht and All Ireland winning teams at Saint Mary’s, have gone on to play International football for the Republic of Ireland.
