Sport - Athletics

Athletics within St Mary’s has become very popular over the last number of years with a large number of our students getting past the North Connaught then onto Connaught final and finally representing St Marys in the All Ireland Finals.

Our students take part in a range of activities throughout the school year. Some enjoy taking part and meeting new friends while other are there to be competitive and aim to represent their school right up to the All-Ireland.

Cross Country starts off in February up to end of March and Track & field start In April right up to the All-Ireland stages in June Students who succeed will represent their Country on the International stage where they will compete with schools in England, Scotland and Wales.
